(Hong Kong 11 April 2010) - Pico Art International Pte Limited (Pico) has put its indelible print on the inaugural Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore in August 2010. Appointed as the Official Venue Infrastructure Overlay Sponsor, Pico will contribute venue overlay service for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (Singapore 2010) Main Media Centre (MMC).
The company has also provided design consultancy for the content and exhibition of the first Youth Olympic Games Learning Centre. In addition, the sponsorship includes the design of Kit of Parts for venue dressing and informational icons for Games-time signage.

Located at the Marina Bay Sands exhibition and convention facility on Singapore's downtown waterfront, the Singapore 2010 MMC will house the Main Press Centre and International Broadcast Centre. The MMC will provide media work rooms and media conference centres for the media as well as broadcast facilities and services for the Rights Holding Broadcasters.
The Youth Olympic Games Learning Centre is a 600 square metre two-storey facility which allows visitors to discover and experience the spirit and values of the Olympic Games and trace Singapore’s journey in winning the bid to host the first YOG in 2010. The Kit of Parts for venue dressing describes the application strategy for using various official emblems and other brand elements at the Singapore 2010 venues.
Singapore will be hosting the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) from 14 to 26 August 2010. The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games will receive some 5,000 athletes and officials from the 205 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), along with estimated 1,200 media representatives, 20,000 local and international volunteers, and more than 500,000 spectators. Young athletes - aged between 14 and 18 years - will compete in 26 sports and take part in a Culture and Education Programme.
The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games aims to inspire youth around the world to embrace, embody and express the Olympic values of Excellence, Friendship and Respect. It will create a lasting sports, culture and education legacy for Singapore and youths from around the world, as well as enhance and elevate the sporting culture locally and regionally.
