For several years, the Agency of the Year Awards have recognised outstanding performers across a range of marketing disciplines. Besides Event Marketing, prizes were awarded to agencies in other categories including Advertising, Creative, Digital, Media, and PR.
Marketing Magazine’s partner company, Boardroom Research, consulted more than 500 respondents - all client marketers themselves - to help determine the list of finalists. These finalists each wrote a submission to the judges based on four criteria: performance, product, people and perspective. Sixteen judges then picked the winners for each category.
Since the awards’ inception, the winners of Agency of the Year have won based on one constant: they have been the agency most preferred by client marketers. To be considered as a finalist, all agencies have to do is continue what they have been doing all year round: performing great work for their clients and ensuring that fact is communicated to the client marketer community.
