On the 9 April, more than 70 Pico Beijing staff members, friends and relatives gathered at Beijing Anlilong Mountain Villa for tree-planting: an activity that would improve the environment and help ‘green’ ideas take root in the community.
Indeed, by the end of the day, the enthusiastic team of volunteers had added a mini-orchard of nearly 40 fruit trees to Beijing’s ecosystem. For good measure, each tree was decorated with wishing cards prepared by team members.
Beginning this year, springtime tree-planting will be an annual event for Pico Beijing – just one of many regional corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives conducted as part of Pico Global Care in Action.
