For the past several years Pico has partnered with Branches Community Projects to support the construction of UMOJA Tanzania’s educational facilities across the country. The collaboration is just one of the many ways Pico Global in Action (PGCiA) is making positive, lasting impacts on communities worldwide.
The primary focus of UMOJA Tanzania is to transform the lives of youths in Tanzania by providing educational and holistic developmental opportunities – a mission that aligns closely with the PGCiA commitment to fostering sustainable change in underserved communities.
Recently, the UMOJA Tanzania renovations were completed, giving the schools new classroom and multipurpose spaces that improve students’ access to quality education, essential life skills and psychosocial support. The modern new facilities also enable students to participate in extracurricular activities that further enhance their education and improve their future prospects.
Pico believes that access to quality education is fundamental to fostering a better, healthier and happier future for all. Through PGCiA, we continue to make tangible efforts around the world to contribute positively to society.
