Pico earns a pair of Webby wins
Pico’s activation of Ranger Buddies Quest at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve has been recognised as the ‘People’s Voice Winner’ in the Apps & Software (Connected Products & Wearables) category of the 28th Webby Awards. The same project was also an ‘Honoree’ in the Advertising, Media & PR (Experience Marketing) category.
Aimed at a generation that uses technology to learn and play, Ranger Buddies Quest presents conservation through the lens of technology. It offers an educational interactive gaming experience through smart binoculars, transforming Mandai Wildlife Reserve into a 28-hectare digital playground. This invention has already begun thousands of personal adventures that connect children with wildlife and their digital counterparts.
The Webby Awards, known as the Oscars of the Internet industry, is the international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
