Pico announced that it was appointed to design the Malaysia Pavilion for Expo Milano 2015 by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI). To be held in Milan, Italy, from May 1st to October 31st 2015, the next Universal Exposition has a theme that is important to all humanity: ‘Feeding the planet, energy for life’, and promises to be the highlight of the global calendar that year.

Malaysia’s interpretation of the core Expo theme is ‘Towards a Sustainable Food Ecosystem’. This fascinating journey from tradition to innovation will explore an economic transformation plan which will propel Malaysia's small agricultural sector into a large-scale high-income industry that contributes to the global struggle against poverty.

Expo Milano 2015 will be Pico’s ninth World Expo over the past 30 years. The Malaysia Pavilion will become part of Pico’s expanding portfolio, which currently includes more than 70 pavilions.
