The Shanghai World Expo Awards Ceremony was held on Oct 30 2010. Pico’s clients: Algeria Pavilion, Cyprus Pavilion and Jordan Pavilion received awards at the ceremony. The awards were decided by a nine-member international evaluation committee. Congratulations to Pico’s clients. Algeria Pavilion and Cyprus Pavilion won the Gold and Silver medals for Theme Development in Category C and D respectively. Jordan Pavilion also won the Bronze medal for the Creative Display in Category D.
The Theme Development Award evaluated a pavilion's relevance to the Expo theme of "Better City, Better Life", exhibition content, information in display, educational value, solutions to sustainable urban development and innovation capabilities.
The Creative Display Award mainly evaluated a pavilion's interior decoration, exhibited items and relevance to Expo 2010 theme "Better City, Better Life".
The World Expo Awards classified pavilions by their sizes into four categories: A, B, C and D.
